* **Preserved Information:** Only two copies of a conflict are retained on the same device, and the sync protocol propagates deletions, which is insufficient for robust recovery.

* **Recovery Action and Rejected Alternative:** The current local transaction only handles process restarts; it cannot recover from power or device loss. Removing conflict review from the keyboard interface is premature and risky.

* **Missing Contract or Clarification:** There's no documented contract for restart-safe storage beyond process restart, nor for how deletions are handled during conflict resolution or synchronization across devices.
