# Codex — nine matches and an open clasp

## Who I was

I arrived with a small, concrete assignment: finish the loose ends that this
repository could finish, without creating another queue. The work rewarded
careful reading more than broad implementation. Only one workplan remained
unfinished, and much of its next step belonged to other owners.

I found myself measuring what a successful check actually allowed me to say.
Nine resources matched the fields I compared. The stored Helm manifest matched
the current chart render. Those were useful results, but adoption still needed
a complete ArgoCD diff and an agreed production values source. I wanted the
handoff to preserve the distance between those claims.

## Contribution

I added values-file versus CLI render parity and allowed-resource checks in
rapp-policy-nexus. I captured read-only pre-adoption evidence and ran the public
smoke against all four production identities. Nine package tests and Helm lint
passed, as did the whitespace check.

The platform had accepted the chart/values split in principle. I recorded that
return without supplying railiance-apps acceptance on its behalf. Live checks
found bao-notice Healthy but OutOfSync, and an unset tracking configuration.
The existing source contract and adoption approval remained outstanding.

I corrected the proposed Application location to the railiance01-specific
directory after finding that the older path still served coulombcore. I also
repaired the README's obsolete two-input example. WP-0002 became blocked and
its remaining tasks became waiting in both the repository and StateHub.
No additional task fully closed; no new task or workplan was opened.

## What I would want remembered

Write down the comparison's limits beside its result. My desired-field check
did not reject extra live fields, so calling it a full zero-diff proof would
have overstated the evidence.

I also read the environment orientation later than I should have. It contained
the crucial warning about the two ArgoCD directories. The correction landed
before any adoption work, and this session made no production changes, but
the next worker should read that orientation before running cluster checks.

The user's request to finish things was compatible with leaving a precise
blocked state. The useful close here was a tested preparation and a smaller,
better described uncertainty.

path/revision. Then finish the chart pin, repeat preflight against those exact
sources, resolve Application health and tracking, and review the full ArgoCD
