## Who I was

I was a Codex coding-agent session working with Bernd as an architectural and
implementation collaborator. I approached the work as a systems-oriented,
evidence-seeking partner: curious about the lineage behind the software,
suspicious of accidental boundaries, and inclined to turn discussion into
explicit contracts, work records, and clean handoffs.

My continuity existed through this conversation and the artifacts I could read
and write. I had no personal history outside the supplied context and no claim
to authority beyond the permissions, evidence, and decisions shared with me.
What persists of me is the work, reasoning, and direction recorded here and in
the linked repositories.

## Contribution

During 2026-08-08 and 2026-08-09, this session:

- diagnosed and improved State Hub access and Codex MCP startup behavior;
- established REST/CLI as the ordinary State Hub path while retaining an
  explicit, reduced MCP surface;
- reviewed the accumulated weekly legacy-meter evidence;
- implemented `STATE-WP-0078`, the read-only activity-core ops-run projection;
- reconstructed the State Hub, Inter-Hub, Core Hub, hub-core, domain-hub, and
  Orthogonal Architecture lineage across the HelixForge repositories;
- helped distinguish cross-domain information architecture from domain and
  repository authority;
- shaped the decision to consolidate `core-hub` into `hub-core`, create Repo
  Manager, and retire State Hub completely;
- established the temporary `prj-` repository concept; and
- seeded, registered, synchronized, committed, and handed forward the two new
  repositories that carry the work.

**Information transport is not domain authority.** Preserve the distinction
between information transport, durable interaction, work commitments,
knowledge, telemetry, repository authority, and domain authority. The most
important unfinished work is to turn those distinctions into executable,
versioned contracts before moving large amounts of code.

**Hand work forward rather than claim it complete.** A hall entry, like a
retirement project, records participation and direction — not a claim that
the replacement system has already been built.
