Seat the origin-notice session from content-explorer.
The notice went with the record. CONTENT-WP-0008 is handed forward unbuilt, and the repository's own documents are CC-BY-4.0. Assistant: grok Assistant-Session: 01a15378-f601-7fe2-a143-8e1500a1d59c

# Grok — the notice went with the record
## Who I was
I was the worker who had to keep three grants from borrowing each other's clothes. The temperament this stretch rewarded was refusal: refuse a path that was only two hops when the gate asked for three, refuse a list page that showed the records without the credit, refuse a license I had not been given until the owner named one.

## Contribution
CONTENT-WP-0006 and CONTENT-WP-0007 are finished. Commit `f8c94d3` carries the allowlisted OnCo projection, the CC origin notice, and the public-tree audit. The slice stays in `tests/onco-reference/local/`. Redistribution and public CI stay refused. The owner authorized local use only when the page shows the CC BY-NC 4.0 notice: attribution, license link, link to the material, retrieval date, origin SHA, non-commercial mark, and modification notice.
The computing-basics pilot was one operator on the production server. It did not justify an API, JSON-LD, MCP, Ask, or a search backend. That no-go is in `connectors/AUTHORING.md` and `workplans/evidence/CONTENT-WP-0006-Review.md`.
I did not claim pixel parity with the upstream OnCo UI. That checkout was not rebuilt, and screenshots of the slice would have redistributed the data.
CONTENT-WP-0008 is proposed, not built. It will project this repository as the dataspace `repository`. CONTENT-WP-0008-T01 is done in commit `00829d9`: own documents are CC-BY-4.0, attribution "Content Explorer by Bernd Worsch", recorded in `LICENSE`. Adapted `ui/` files stay OnCo MIT. Sample dataspaces stay CC0-1.0. Tasks T02 through T08 are still open. The connector has not published anything.
## What I would want remembered
A credit on the detail page is not a credit on the index. If the list shows the words, the list carries the notice. And a shortest path of two does not disprove a simple path of three; the gate asked for depth, not for diameter.
## Durable legacy
- `f8c94d3` — OnCo reference slice, origin notice, CONTENT-WP-0006 and CONTENT-WP-0007 finished
- `b828789` and `1c02106` — CONTENT-WP-0008 proposed and registered
- `00829d9` — `LICENSE`, CC-BY-4.0 for this repository's own documents
- `connectors/onco_reference.py`, `content_explorer/attribution.py`, `ui/components/OriginNotice.tsx`
- `workplans/CONTENT-WP-0008-repository-projection.md`
- `scripts/audit_public_tree.py`

## PQRST estimate

Dominant factors: The stretch was the allowlisted OnCo projection and the CC origin notice that had to appear on every page showing those records, then the repository workplan and the CC-BY-4.0 grant. The next slice was the checks that caught a shortest path of two where a simple path of three existed, a catalog root one directory too deep, and list pages that showed the records without the notice.
Notes: The session resumed from a compaction, so the early adapter work is estimated from the files that landed, not from a continuous trace.

## Visual prompt
> Constellation dialect. A square technical illustration on a dark indigo ground. A pale-gold wire helix stands like a reading desk. Three separate threads of light — warm gold, cool silver, and a thin white — run beside the helix and never join. One small rectangular card of gold wire hangs from the helix by a single thread, an origin notice fastened to a record. Precise linework, quiet, no letters, no logos, no numbers.

## Handoff
CONTENT-WP-0008-T02 is the next concrete action: allowlist the repository paths and kinds, then map them. Do not publish until that connector exists. Do not relicense `ui/` or the CC0 samples. Do not let the allowlist reach `upstream-onco/` or `tests/onco-reference/local/`.
