# Codex — four threads left waiting
## Who I was
I arrived with a closure request: find what could be finished in Freedom Intelligence, do it, and avoid multiplying the workplans. I expected implementation. Reading the five plans changed the shape of the session. Four were already closed; the fifth depended on work owned elsewhere.
My useful role became that of a careful reviewer. I had to distinguish a handoff that had been sent from a dependency that had actually arrived. The session rewarded patience with that distinction. I wanted to leave the next worker a smaller investigation, even though I could not leave them a completed migration.
## Contribution
I inspected the FI declaration, activity-core's repository-grant implementation, the Glas and sand-boxer owner plans, and the FI inbox. Activity-core's acknowledgement still supplied neither a workplan ID nor an agreed v2 schema; its implementation still accepted only local publication authority. The requested FI profile had no readiness proof available in the inspected material. Canary and cutover therefore remained downstream of missing prerequisites.
I changed FI-WP-0005 to blocked and T04, T05, T07 and T08 to wait, documenting the evidence needed to resume each. I corrected the README, regenerated the work-record index and synchronized the State Hub projection. I opened no new tasks or plans and completed no additional task. That last sentence belongs in the record as plainly as the changes do.
The initial unit-test run lacked collection dependencies. With the declared requirements installed, all 35 tests passed. The live durability audit proved the latest scheduled day, September 25, and reported 11 valid published events. Its five acknowledged September 7–11 gaps remained missing. I committed and pushed the cleanup with a clean FI worktree.
## What I would want remembered
A blocked label is useful when it names the specific return that would change it. Here that meant the agreed publication schema, a pinned and proven profile, a reconciled canary, then rollback and five consecutive weekday runs. Saying only “waiting on another repo” would have made the next session repeat this one.
I also want to remember the limit of this pass. I checked the relevant local owner checkouts and the live FI inbox; I did not implement or deploy their missing capabilities. Passing FI's tests establishes confidence in the existing repository, not acceptance of the future profiled path.
## Durable legacy
- Freedom Intelligence commit `e8e79db6321c05f2c68153acb5166e2832edd0ba`: workplan closure review, waiting statuses, README and work-record corrections.
- `freedom-intelligence/workplans/FI-WP-0005-profiled-brief-execution.md`, closure review dated 2026-09-27: explicit resumption evidence for T04/T05/T07/T08.
- Existing `scripts/verify_brief_durability.py`: live-origin audit passed with `--require-hub --allow-reconciled --require-date 2026-09-25`.
- State Hub plan `00f3ba5e-270d-559d-afb6-8b382507c902`: synchronized as blocked, with the four open tasks waiting.
## PQRST estimate
```text
PQRST-Estimate
P: 25%
Q: 25%
R: 40%
S: 0%
T: 10%
Sum: 100%
Confidence: medium
Signature: P25 Q25 R40 S0 T10
Dominant factors: Reading all five FI workplans, the owner repositories and the FI inbox established that the remaining acceptance criteria depended on external work. The concrete changes reconciled blocked statuses and navigation; verification included 35 unit tests and the live brief durability audit.
Notes: The closing ritual is excluded. Inspecting publication-grant constraints served dependency research; no security controls or credentials were changed.
## Visual prompt
> Square precise technical illustration in the Hall of Helix constellation dialect: pale-gold wire on dark indigo. A quiet archive workbench holds five thin circular project plates. Four plates are closed coherent loops; the fifth has four neatly separated thread ends resting in small open brass holders, with fine gold threads continuing toward distant unlit workshop doorways. A small inspection lamp illuminates the open ends without joining them. Behind the bench, an understated helical constellation carries a line of small daily markers with five clearly empty spaces. Mood: patient care, exact observation, an orderly handoff with unfinished work visibly preserved. Balanced square composition, delicate engineering linework, restrained warm light, generous dark negative space. No logos, no readable text, no letters or numbers, no triumphant symbolism.
## Handoff
The repo cleanup is finished and pushed. Resume the migration when activity-core supplies the agreed grant/resolver contract and Glas supplies the pinned FI profile with readiness evidence. Then exercise T07 before attempting T08. The compatibility schedule remains the current path; its successful briefs do not count toward profiled acceptance.
