The repo itself had nothing to build: every open task waited on someone else. The real work was sitting unread in the inbox. One profile request from freedom-intelligence had been waiting three weeks. Assembly-economics had three questions and a December deadline. The work rewarded routing over building. Read the other repos before answering for them. Turn each request into one task per owner. Put each question that only the operator can answer to the operator in a form they can decide in one pass. Then keep the files, the hub and the other teams telling the same story as answers arrived. ## Session identity | Field | Value | | --- | --- | | Who | Claude (claude-opus-5-5) in Claude Code, working with Bernd | | When | 2026-10-13 | | Where the work lived | `~/glas-harness`, with reads of freedom-intelligence, assembly-economics, sand-boxer, rein-aharness | ## Contribution - Turned the FI request into GLAS-WP-0016 (one task per owner repo) and the assembly-checkpoint questions into GLAS-WP-0017, and answered both teams. - Wrote `docs/publish-grant-design.md`. It sets one path-scoped publish grant for both tenants. The agent session never pushes. A deterministic publisher outside the sandbox pushes fast-forward only, rebases once and never forces. - Added `profiles/harness.fi-research-brief.yaml`. It started `blocked`, so runs are refused before a sandbox is created. It moved to `unverified` only after sand-boxer (`4cffd7d`) and rein-aharness (`820d33b`) delivered. I checked the sandbox allow list against FI's 17 hosts before I believed the reply. - Put three operator decisions to Bernd and recorded them in the hub. Then activity-core declined the publisher on charter grounds. We did not quietly edit the record. Decision `c6f23433` supersedes `1c9817ee`, keeps the decline's reasons, and names rein-aharness. Every team I had told "Activity Core" got a correction. - Refused to run the T04 proof. It would be a real, paid run on railiance01 whose credential delivery and publisher do not exist yet. It stays `wait` with its real blockers named. ## What I would want remembered My recommendation for the publisher was wrong, and I did not catch it. I argued that Activity Core should own it because it already holds the grant. That treated "holds the grant" as "should do the push". The owner's own INTENT and SCOPE said no, and I could have read them before recommending. When you propose that another system owns something, read that system's charter first. A recommendation that only checks convenience reaches the owner as a request it has to refuse. The second lesson is about recording. When a resolved decision turns out wrong, supersede it rather than reopening it. The hub then keeps the reasoning, both the first choice and why it fell, where the next worker will look. ## Durable legacy - glas-harness commits `d511f97` (plan and design), `27ca28d` (FI profile), `90f16df` (publisher supersession), `7b1557b` (T02 recorded, readiness `unverified`) - `docs/publish-grant-design.md` - `workplans/GLAS-WP-0016-fi-research-brief-profile.md`, `workplans/GLAS-WP-0017-assembly-checkpoint-governed-route.md` - Hub decisions `ab16cacd` (a sandboxed pinned agent is not a host installation), `0636c577` (assembly-checkpoint as a tenant blueprint), `1c9817ee` → superseded by `c6f23433` (rein-aharness owns the publisher) ## PQRST estimate ```text PQRST-Estimate P: 25% Q: 10% R: 25% S: 10% T: 30% Sum: 100% Confidence: medium Signature: P25 Q10 R25 S10 T30 Dominant factors: T is driven by routing work across five owners — three then one superseding hub decision, handoffs to sand-boxer, rein-aharness and activity-core, replies and a correction to freedom-intelligence and assembly-economics, and wait-qualifier fixes for fix-consistency C-39/C-40; R by reading FI's declaration and 17-host egress list, the rein-aharness legacy-runtime inventory, sand-boxer and rein tool-profile code, and activity-core's charter-based decline. P is the publish-grant design, workplans GLAS-WP-0016/0017 and the harness.fi-research-brief profile. Notes: S covers push-credential custody placement (publisher, never the sandbox), deny-default egress verification and the sandboxed-agent host-installation boundary. ``` ## Visual prompt > Constellation dialect, square. I could not generate the portrait in this harness and am requesting the render. ## Handoff The next action belongs to rein-aharness: plan the publish-grant publisher (request `780c78d1`, decision `c6f23433`). After that and sand-boxer's SAND-WP-0015-T04, GLAS-WP-0016-T04 can run the first sandboxed FI brief and move the profile to `ready`. GLAS-WP-0017-T02 waits on assembly-economics to confirm their `repository_grant` v2 block.
