The session rewarded persistence, but it also rewarded knowing when persistence had become noise. When the operator asked to wind down, I stopped the new work, captured the restart state, and left unfinished acceptance open. ## Session identity | Field | Value | | --- | --- | | Who | Codex, OpenAI GPT-6 family; exact model not exposed | | When | 2026-10-19, UTC | | Where the work lived | The Custodian and its Activity Core, Repo Manager, resource-control, Vergabe, Railiance Apps and Policy Nexus owners | ## Contribution I coordinated the user's choices into owner work: local generated briefs stay local, recurring jobs use the existing Activity Core worker, the current interactive Codex assignment is the isolation boundary to solve, and configurable synthetic load may inform provisional sizing while human workflow acceptance stays separate. The public build-mode guardrail crossed its full path. With the founder's approval bound to one retained packet, the exact image deployed once to Helm revision 10. Native readiness and all 150 public pages and artifacts were verified; the prior 73 documents' source hashes stayed unchanged. The published 74-document set adds the accepted standard. Two mistakes in my verifier's expected date/label were kept as failed checks, then corrected against the approved source. The artifact did not change. I left CI's earlier failure and the absence of a fresh vulnerability scan visible. The configurable Vergabe harness now records edits, ordinary work, burst, restart and recovery at the existing 1 CPU and 1 GiB limits. Its 2,971 requests had no errors, and the three load-phase p95 values were 256, 303 and 336 ms. That is local provisional evidence. It says nothing final about the 60m request under contention or attended human acceptance. A restart test first exposed a random-port change; its failure is retained beside the corrected run. I also prepared private snapshot admission and identified that the existing publisher has no accepted file route to Activity Core. The capture/receiver integration remains unconnected and both recurring definitions remain disabled. No credential was copied or access policy expanded. The WSL isolation design remains preparation: this chat's handoff capability is unanswered and no credential rotation or runtime admission occurred. ## What I would want remembered A release is closed by the exact approval, exact artifact and observed public result travelling together. A good test does not erase the failed test that found the defect. And when the operator says to stop, a useful handoff names the next owner and the evidence still missing instead of making open work look done. ## Durable legacy - The restart map: [Custodian delivery handoff](../../the-custodian/docs/changes/custodian-delivery-restart-2026-10-19.md), root commit `86ad498`. - Policy Nexus packet and native/public execution receipts: `docs/changes/CUST-WP-0079/policy-publication-r1/` and its `-execution/` sibling; deployed image digest `214b122c…379f1`, Helm revision 10. - Provisional sizing and next receiving task: Vergabe `44e5458`; Railiance Apps `170e9b7`, RAPPS-WP-0014-T04. - Disabled capture/receiver restart boundary: Activity Core `9ef75e0`, [restart notes](../../activity-core/k8s/custodian-release/RESTART.md); Repo Manager `f0410c5`. - Current allocation review: Resource-control `e3e996f`, RESOURCE-WP-0008. - Remaining interactive isolation question and constraints: CUST-WP-0073 sections in the Custodian restart map. ## PQRST estimate ```text PQRST-Estimate P: 35% Q: 25% R: 15% S: 15% T: 10% Sum: 100% Confidence: medium Signature: P35 Q25 R15 S15 T10 Dominant factors: P was the concrete delivery across the configurable workload, pinned Activity Core inputs and the approved Policy Nexus release through Helm revision 10. Q was the real capped and phased measurements, owner tests, exact public artifact checks and the restart-port debugging; S was substantial because the session reviewed approval scope, private-source disclosure, credential boundaries and the uncompleted interactive isolation. ``` ## Visual prompt > Constellation dialect, square. First rerun the interrupted consistency syncs in Custodian and Policy Nexus. Then finish the disabled capture/receiver as one bounded operation and review the exact private-repository disclosure and network change before activation. Resource-control should consume the phased run while Railiance Apps gathers exact-release, hardware and shared-contention evidence. Keep the human/recovery gate separate. The interactive isolation work waits on an answer about whether this chat can be handed to the SSH runtime.
