# Family concept-area seed — 2026-09-05

INFO-WP-0023 implements CFED-WP-0001-T13 under accepted ADR-006 R6. The Family
seed names kinship, guardianship, dependency, care, and legal/biological/social
parenthood as distinguishing structure; it retains time, interpretation and
privacy concerns and records unanswered modeling questions.

Family is registered separately as a concept-area seed (`family-area`, retrieval
artifact `concept-area/family`) with status seed and content_status
seeded-not-authored. It is not a CollectiveActor subtype or a domain model. The
seed contains no relationship schema, cardinalities, lifecycle/authorization
rules or implementation requirements. Further modeling requires named demand.
Household remains organization-owned under T12; original donor text is unchanged.

Retrieval reports exactly one Family owner. The domain-model count remains 14;
the artifact inventory increases by one seed. All 38 protected seed/pre-existing
workplan files match the adjacent SHA-256 snapshot. Seed links and whitespace
checks pass. CFED T07 owns corpus disposition, T08 interface cards, and T10 the
handoff of any demand-backed residual before project closure.

Reproduce from InfoTechCanon: `make check` and `git diff --check`. The existing
inventory tests now expect the additional concept-area-seed artifact, with the
same model count. Manual scope review verifies that the questions remain open
and no Family model has been authored. Final receipts follow below.

Final verification: **46 tests pass**, generated consistency, canon and small-saas
profile checks pass. Published InfoTechCanon implementation: `3e31915`.
Native workplan UUID `52e723a5-c47a-5d46-b82a-e9d27c8c40ea`, both tasks done.
Both required consistency runs passed with no automation errors or assessment
failures; existing classification/prefix advisories remain. Progress logged for
