# G4 founder-load measurement (design)

Gate G4: CEO time stays within ~1–3 h/day plus ~2 office-hour days/month for
routine company ops, measured over ≥30 calendar days.

## What counts

- **Counts:** reading briefs, approving/rejecting Yellow packages, office-hour
  (Orange) sessions, and any Green/Blue failure the founder has to repair.
- **Does not count against the budget (logged, not budgeted):** Red-lane
  actions (signing, bank plan change, notary, contracts, risk acceptance).
  Each is logged as a Red exception with its id; G4 fails if Red exceptions
  become the default rather than rare.
- **Out of scope:** product/engineering work on the ecosystem, and
  founder time on non-Binky matters.

## Log

One line per day, kept in `binky-control` (owner of the operating rhythm),
e.g. `briefs/load-log.csv`: `date, minutes_routine, minutes_oh, red_exceptions
(ids), note`. The founder enters minutes at end of day (≤1 min); the weekly
review brief summarises the trailing 7 and 30 days against the envelope.

## Pass rule

Over a window of ≥30 consecutive days: mean routine ≤3 h/day, at most ~2 OH
days per month, and Red exceptions each individually justified.

## Open point (needs a binky-control write)

An intake/residual in `binky-control` must own the ongoing logging (create
log file, add the summary to the weekly review). That lives outside this repo
and has not been created here — see UPC-WP-0003-T02.
