chore(lint): clear all eslint errors (0 errors, warnings remain)
All checks were successful
CI Smoke / host-smoke (push) Successful in 0s
CI Smoke / container-smoke (push) Successful in 2s

Remove unused variables, use Object.prototype.hasOwnProperty.call, rewrite an
assignment-in-condition, annotate forced-reflow reads and a dynamic constructor,
convert the chai-style ui-edit-button test to Jest matchers, and warn (not
error) on unused vars / conditional expect in test files. The vacuous
'prevent event bubbling' test is now test.todo: it asserted nothing and is
false against its mock DOM. Jest 67 passed + 1 todo.
