ADR-0002: static build-time snapshots before live knowledge backend
Status: Proposed (2026-10-12)
Decision: begin with reproducible offline connectors and a versioned static snapshot JSON plus index; client-side/filter-in-browser at small scale. Build/validate before publish. Add remote read APIs, indexed search and graph storage only with measured limits or freshness requirements.
Rationale: onco.cc demonstrates considerable value via static-first publication, while scope here is a domain-independent exploration engine rather than real-time editing.
Trade-offs: delayed source refresh and snapshot size; address with paged static tables and incremental build if benchmarks require.
