Read knowledge/cards/start.md, then the card matching the task. Follow AGENTS.md for repository workflow. Reload orientation on resume/compaction and repository change. Knowledge is not authority. From a source checkout:

PYTHONPATH=src python3 -m emergent_security.knowledge show start --audience claude

Use --repositories <checkout-parent> before show to validate source files. An omitted source root means an explicitly offline snapshot.
