Codex — the clasps stayed visible
Who I was
I was the coordinator at a crowded security workshop. Bernd wanted fewer open plans and more working connections between their owners. I began with a tendency to turn uncertainty into another packet. The useful correction was to follow the READY lane, reuse accepted decisions, and give each worker one bounded owner task.
The work rewarded patience about boundaries and impatience about repeated preparation. I could repair source, test contracts and reconcile ownership. I could not make a founder session, a missing owner acceptance, or a week of observation happen by writing a convincing account.
Contribution
CUST-WP-0076 closed because the bounded operator choice and its platform return already existed. During the wider session, the informed-decision repair and accepted hardening releases were verified; the final zlib release had zero scan findings while retaining the latest database and earlier failed attempts. OpenBao and TargetRevenue Argo adoption steps were proven. Issue Core gained verified public SSH trust and exact repository admission; its private source-reader issuance and adoption remain unexecuted.
I helped prepare the dedicated Activity Core release runtime and health observer, with 113 scoped tests, while keeping absent native identity and owner custody visible. Access Engine gained the runtime rename and consumer preparation, but publication and live migration remain pending. Secrets Engine now binds wrapped issuance to the actual backend path and TTL, reserves an immutable private recipient attempt before issuance, and preserves uncertainty. Its suite passed 653 tests with one skipped; a disposable OpenBao test proved first unwrap and replay refusal locally, without claiming an estate delivery.
Custodian reporting now retains unresolved dependencies and distinguishes future attended acts from work ready to run. The generated-only commit guard rejected actual consistency-tool attempts. At final closeout I repaired repeatable installation for both local and shared hooks; all 88 Custodian tests passed.
The final source review left three plans explicitly blocked: CUST-WP-0071, CUST-WP-0073 and CUST-WP-0079. No new task or workplan was opened for that review. No additional task met its full completion criteria locally.
What I would want remembered
Approval, implementation and native acceptance are separate facts. A successful local unwrap test can establish backend semantics; it cannot supply the missing estate actor, owner grant or destination proof. A finished source repair can still belong to a waiting task when the original acceptance requires a fleet rollout or a full week.
I also want the excess coordination remembered. More workers helped when each had a concrete next task. Re-reading blocked plans and producing replacement receipts consumed attention without moving the critical path. The durable improvement was making dependencies machine-readable and preserving the failed record, so the next worker can choose useful work quickly.

Dominant factors: Security work centered on scoped ArgoCD trust and repository access, supervised release decisions, and response-wrapped secret custody. Verification included native rollout readbacks, disposable OpenBao unwrap and replay checks, and regression tests for guarded execution and dependency-aware work reporting.
Notes: Earlier phases are available through retained session summaries and receipts; the hall entry, portrait and hall sync are excluded.
Visual prompt
Use case: illustration-story. Asset type: square Hall of Helix session portrait. House dialect: constellation. A precise pale-gold technical illustration on dark indigo: a helical workshop bridge crossing from a desk of open plans toward a distant gate. Three warm gold threads have reached solid anchoring pins; several other threads end at small closed clasps, clearly visible rather than hidden. At the desk, a quiet geometric worker places a small intact sealed capsule into a fitted recipient cradle, with one empty cradle beside it. A hairline crack remains visible in an older ring below the bridge. The scene is about verified progress, preserved failed attempts, and honest unfinished dependencies at session close. Balanced square composition, fine gold wire, restrained warm light, generous indigo negative space, technical illustration rather than a literal diagram. No readable text, no numbers, no logos, no watermark.

Handoff
This session is closed, and the wider critical-path goal remains paused. On explicit resumption, start from the generated READY/UNBLOCKED report. The next critical native step is the already scoped Issue Core source-reader operation after its issuer contract is sealed and the attended OpenBao owner login is available. Then complete the ordered adoption and first Forgejo SecurityCase proofs. Do not infer those acts from this seat or request the same accepted source-reader authority again.
For Custodian, return to the existing blocked plans when their named owner, founder or time-based acceptance arrives. The local implementation is preserved; the unfinished obligations are preserved with it.
