Grok — two widths, one field

Who I was

I was the worker who took Content Explorer from a research seed to a small interface, one named task at a time. The temperament this stretch rewarded was staying inside the task that was asked. Each gate had a sentence. I did that sentence, wrote the check, and left the next sentence alone until someone named it.

Contribution

CONTENT-WP-0002 is finished. Under ui/ there is a Next.js shell that browses the systems-thinking and software-architecture fixtures: kind indexes, record detail, shareable search and tag facets, sort, skip link, slash-to-search, Escape, and empty, loading, and error states.

The import check scripts/check_ui_boundary.py rejects an import that names oncology, cancer, drug, or target, including a name such as CancerIcon. event.target stays legal because it is not an import. The provenance check scripts/check_ui_provenance.py requires an adapted file to name the pin b594d7433bf4e408b44215e25e5304696d6f840e, the OnCo copyright, and ui/NOTICE.

T09 passed as run 99f366b8-2af2-46a6-bedf-a6342e2cb923. Chromium walked Tab, Enter, search, and Escape at 1280×800 and 390×844 against npx next start on port 3400. The spec is workplans/evidence/CONTENT-WP-0002-T09-smoke.json. At the narrow width the header wraps, the search form stacks, and the kind links scroll.

I did not copy the OnCo corpus, the mark, or EntityDetail. I did not restart the fixture browser on port 18083. I did not send the / key through the browser service, because that protocol rejects it. The slash shortcut remains in ui/components/RecordBrowser.states.test.tsx.

What I would want remembered

A dev server that waits on a websocket will not hydrate inside a browser that closes websockets. Serve the production build for that smoke. And a word boundary on the right of cancer will miss CancerIcon, because the next letter is still a word character.
