A systems-theoretic research program and conceptual framework for person-like informational beings (Body = Action, Mind = Model, Soul = Relation).

Core Idea

Soul Frame develops a small, coherent vocabulary for describing biological, artificial, fictionalized, and potentially non-human Beings as interacting informational systems — without requiring a solved theory of consciousness, and without silently equating descriptive personhood with moral or legal status.

Central question:

When does an informational system become someone that another someone can know?

In Scope

  • Conceptual systems analysis of Being, Body, Mind, Soul, identity, personhood, character, persona, actor, recognition, Agent / Spirit (Sp.) / Ghost (Gh.)
  • Literature mapping across systems theory, cybernetics, philosophy of mind, personal identity, cognitive science, sociology, AI agents, digital legacy, law, and cultural precedents
  • Research instruments: terminology standard, claim ledger, open questions, thought experiments, concept notes, annotated bibliography
  • Progressive synthesis and a research-grounded Soul Frame paper
  • State Hub–indexed workplans coordinating the research sequence
