# SOUL-WP-0011 — Phase X: Sufficiency, Coverage, and Soul Packaging
|
||
|
||
## Goal
|
||
|
||
Close the three gaps the 2026-09-28 scope-vs-intent assessment
|
||
(`history/260928-scope-intent-gap-assessment.md`) ranked as most relevant
|
||
and addressable now:
|
||
|
||
- **G1** — the framework has no stated position on weighting/sufficiency
|
||
for its B-, P-, and continuity profiles, though thresholds are
|
||
load-bearing in Beinghood v0.2 and across the TE catalog.
|
||
- **G2** — INTENT's success criterion (one vocabulary across nine
|
||
reference entity types, with meaningful distinctions) has never been
|
||
exercised as an explicit test.
|
||
- **G3** — Soul packaging (relations vs consequences vs both) is the last
|
||
remaining paper-critical open item (RQ4).
|

Write `research/sufficiency-and-weighting-position.md`: a principled
|
||
position on how (or whether) B1–B8, P1–P12, and the six continuity
|
||
channels aggregate into sufficiency judgments ("enough personhood for
|
||
Beinghood v0.2", "CONTINUOUS vs DEGRADED"). A principled refusal of
|
||
universal weights (context-of-claim relativity) is an acceptable outcome
|
||
if argued; silence is not. Must state consequences for Beinghood v0.2
|
||
phrasing and the TE working judgments that lean on thresholds.
|
||
|
||
**Done when:** the note exists, takes one defended position, and
|
||
`OpenQuestions.md` RQ1/RQ2/RQ5 weighting bullets reference it.
|
||

### T02 — Success-criterion coverage matrix

Write `research/coverage-matrix.md`: apply the full vocabulary (B-profile,
|
||
P-profile, continuity channels, addressability/recognition,
|
||
Agent/Sp./Gh. descriptors) to all nine INTENT reference entity types in
|
||
one matrix, with per-entity notes on where the vocabulary strains.
|
||
Distinctions must be *meaningful*: every pair of entity types must differ
|
||
on at least one dimension, stated explicitly or derivable from the matrix.
|
||
|
||
**Done when:** the matrix covers all nine types, strain points are named,
|
||
and the note gives an explicit pass/partial verdict on the success
|
||
criterion, cross-referenced from `INTENT.md`'s success-criterion section
|
||
readers via SCOPE.md.
|

### T03 — Soul packaging resolution

Resolve RQ4's remainder: does "Soul" package relations, consequences
|
||
(persistent influence), or both — and how does Cluster D inheritance
|
||
(Gh. inheriting Soul-relational structure without identity) survive the
|
||
chosen packaging? Update `concepts/soul.md` with the outcome and mark the
|
||
RQ4 remainder resolved or narrowed in `OpenQuestions.md`.
|
||
|
||
**Done when:** `concepts/soul.md` states the packaging position with
|
||
rationale, and RQ4's "still open (paper-critical)" block reflects it.
